For anyone who follows sports in Vancouver, they probably know the team has undergone a rebuilding process over the last few years. The same can be said of many of the major facilities in Rogers Arena. We got the tap to help them to promote updated luxury suites, many concourse vendors, and the newest addition in Sports Bar.
The atmosphere at Rogers Arena is as much a part of it as the product they put on the ice so conveying that experience was key in any photos of the new additions. With so many options for home viewing, Canucks Sports & Entertainment wanted to remind fans that being at the game offers so much more than just a place to watch. Service, fun, and choice are all elements that they wanted to highlight as important parts of the overall experience.
For many of our shoots, the best time to capture interaction is during the intermissions amidst the rush for refreshments. That means hopping up to the concourse to grab fans enjoying their food then dropping down to ice level to capture shots of the action unfolding.
Nothing quite like staying a step ahead of the fastest game on ice.
