Campaign: McArthur Glen Grand Opening
The appetite for an accessible outlet mall was clearly voracious as it seemed all of Vancouver flocked to the grand opening of McArthur Glen’s Designer Outlet. If you brave enough to face the packed streets, you were rewarded with events, sales, and refreshments around every corner. The scope was enormous and something we wanted to properly convey on video.
To do this, we had a team on site for the opening weekend capturing as much of the goings on as possible. We were also communicating with the Citizen Optimum team to obtain news footage that would be used in the editing process. The combination of the two showed the absolute enormity of the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet’s grand opening.
What was important to remember among the throngs of shoppers was capturing not only the largeness of it all but also the details. Children were laughing, shopping snacking, and there were candid moments of joy happening all around us.
