Campaign: FIFA 16 Women’s National Teams
We’ve been working with the team over at EA Sports for a while now and in 2016 they approached us to work on local content for FIFA 16. What was different about this year was for the first time ever, women would be playable in game. An incredible step forwards that posed some unique challenges.
For us, this meant both the Canadian and American women’s national teams would be coming to the EA campus in Burnaby for promo materials. Whenever we’re working with celebrity talent, we know we need to make the most of our time. What made it tough was instead of a single person or even a couple, we were shooting with full teams.
To make sure no time was wasted and we got all the material we needed, we had several teams shooting with different girls in different locations. This was in tandem to working with the global marketing teams to make sure the footage matched what was being shot around the world.
Out of chaos can come magic and we loved every minute.
